You need to be free from restrictions and from the need to make others responsible for your knowledge.
I have been asked by several people to tell them how to be free and to achieve spiritual gains.
My first advice is:
REALLY WANT TO BE FREE!
WANT TO BE FREE ABOVE ANYTHING AND ALL!
If they would understand what I mean
they would not go around begging to be helped, blaming their auditor/counselor or envying who they think is in a better position.
If they really wanted to be free they will not be waiting at all.
They will not be there wasting time being human
and do what human do.
They will be out there stealing every bit of knowledge they can.
Taking bits of knowledge from here and there and
working on putting together their own puzzle.
“Mr. Hubbard said training is 100% of the path.”
Naturally, for one eager to know,
studying becomes a type of self-counseling.
They say: ‘As truth comes in, lies melts away’…
Truth in this universe does not exist,
as truth and lies are just interpretation of the mind of a different type of energy.
When we talk about discovering truth we are actually not interested in facts.
In this illusion, all is an illusion.
What the actual gain is, is in the breaking of our agreements with all the suppose-to-do/not-suppose-to-do, suppose-to-be/not-suppose-to be of this material universe.
That alone gives power to the spiritual mind
and increases knowingness.
That is the reason why in order to go anywhere in the path of spiritual enlightenment/knowledge you need to be free.
You need to be free from restrictions and from the need to make other responsible for your knowledge.
Spiritual knowledge cannot be thought.
It is something no mind can conceive or understand.
It does not belong to this energy game.
It is your path and your path only.
Nobody is going to be walking it for you.
So, do not make excuses.
There are tons of materials you could be getting at the library or off the internet.
The spiritual path requires you to make choices,
and one of that is to stop being human.
“All human problems arise from this extraordinarily complex, living center which is the ‘me’, and a man who would uncover its subtle ways has to be negatively aware, choicelessly observant. – Krishnamurti, Collected Works, Vol. XIII,202,Choiceless Awareness
The Persian poet-philosopher, Al-Ghazzali, says: “The highest function o f man’s soul is the perception of truth.”
If we enter there armed only with the principles of the logic of the three-dimensional world, these principles will drag us back, will not give us a chance to rise from the earth. First of all we must throw off the chains of our logic. This is the first, the great, the chief liberation toward which humanity (257) must strive. Man, throwing off the chains of “three-dimensional” logic, has already penetrated, in thought, into another world.
And not only is this transition possible, but it is accomplished constantly. Although unhappily we are not entirely conscious of our rights in “another world,” and often sacrifice these rights, regarding ourselves as limited to this earthly world, paths nevertheless exist.
Poetry, mysticism, the idealistic philosophy of all ages and peoples, preserve the traces of such transitions . Following these traces, we ourselves can find the path. Ancient and modern thinkers have given us many keys with which we may open mysterious doors; many magical formulae, before which these doors open of themselves. But we have not understood either the purpose of these keys or the meaning of the formulae. We have also lost the understanding of magical ceremonies and rites of initiation into mysteries which had a single purpose: to help this transformation in the soul of man.

305. “LIGHT ON THE PATH”
293 For within you is the light of the world. . . . If you are unable to perceive it within you, it :is useless to look for it elsewhere. . . . it is unattainable, because it forever recedes . You will enter the light, but you will never touch the Flame. . . . Seek out the way. Look for the flower to bloom in the silence that follows the storm : not till then. . . . And on the deep silence the mysterious event will occur which will prove that the way has been found. Call it by what name you will, it speaks in a voice that speaks where there is none to speak-it is a messenger that comes, a messenger without form or substance ; or it is the flower of the soul that has opened. It cannot be described by any metaphor.
To hear the voice of the silence is to understand that from within comes the only true guidance. . . . For when the disciple is ready, the Master is ready also. Hold fast to that which is neither substance nor existence. Listen only to the voice which is soundless. Look only on that which is invisible. . .”
